The farmhouse Saint-Nectaire from Fromagerie du Buron has won the silver medal at the 2024 Paris Agricultural Show. Another accolade for an already highly-awarded cheese.

After having already received numerous distinctions in Lyon, Tours, and Frankfurt, the farmhouse Saint-Nectaire from Fromagerie du Buron has won the silver medal at the 2024 Paris Agricultural Show.

Special Care

This new award once again crowns the flagship product of the cheese dairy since its establishment in Auvergne at the beginning of the 20th century. Bearing the AB label, this Saint-Nectaire is aged for 28 days in underground cellars where it receives the utmost care: brushing, salting, washing, and turning. “The Saint-Nectaire from Buron passes through the hands of our Master Affineurs up to 15 times,” the cheese dairy, an exhibitor at SFPL, even asserts.
